Biscay Road Vintners is one of a select few vineyards in the Barossa where the soil is different. The unique cracking clay of Biscay soils provides excellent growing conditions for wine grapes, in particular red varietals. Since 1981, Biscay Road Vineyard has grown Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mataro and Grenache across 114 acres on the edge of Tanunda and the township of Bethany. They supply grapes to some of the most iconic wineries in the Barossa Valley.
